Project Overview

This project involved a substantial 24-square-meter extension to a residential property, designed to create a modern, open-plan living space that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living. The extension included a new kitchen, full rewire, new central heating system, and significant structural modifications, along with the addition of a wood log cabin in the backyard for a dedicated office space.

24-Square-Meter Extension

The 24-square-meter extension was designed with large bifold doors that open up to the garden, allowing natural light to flood the space and creating a seamless transition between the indoors and outdoors. The open-plan design required knocking down several walls and incorporating steelwork to ensure structural integrity while maximizing the spacious, airy feel of the living area.

New Kitchen & Modern Upgrades

A brand-new kitchen was installed, featuring modern appliances, custom cabinetry, and sleek finishes that complement the open-plan layout with half engineered wood, half tiled flooring. The project also included a full rewire and the installation of a new central heating system, ensuring the home is both energy-efficient and comfortable throughout the year.

Wood Log Cabin Office

In addition to the main house extension, we constructed a wood log cabin in the backyard, providing a tranquil, dedicated office space. This cabin offers a quiet retreat from the main house, ideal for remote work or creative pursuits, while still being visually connected to the garden.
